I made this ribs more than a dozen times. This is my favorite ribs. The combo of Instant Pot and Airfryer makes the cooking easier and faster than cooking in the oven.

Ingredients:
- 3 lbs. Baby Back Ribs, clean and rinse ( I also use St. Louis style ribs)
- ¼ cup maggi seasoning
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 2 tbsp.vegetable oil
- 2 tbsp.white wine vinegar (tried it with apple cider vinegar, it's good)
- 10 cloves garlic minced
- ½ cup chicken broth
- 2 tbsp. cornstarch+ 2 tbsp. water
- ½ cup water for cooking
- Combine all ingredients except for cornstarch and warm water.
- Transfer ribs into a large container or ziploc bag. Pour the marinade over the ribs and toss to evenly coat the ribs. Marinate for at least 1 to 2 hours in the refrigerator.
- Place marinade and ½ cup water into the Instant Pot, place the trivet and ribs. Set the Instant Pot on Manual mode, High Pressure for 18 minutes, 15 minutes NPR.
- Carefully remove the ribs from the Instant Pot.
- Add cornstarch mixture to the juice. Set the Instant Pot on Saute mode. Mix and let it simmer until the sauce thickened.
- Baste the ribs with thickened sauce.
- Line the air fryer basket with foil for easy clean up. Place the ribs in the air fryer and air fry at 400F for 12 minutes, flip in between. Garnish with green onions.
- Enjoy.
Notes:
- If you don't have maggi seasoning, you can use either kikoman soysauce or silver swan soy sauce. It taste similar but I prefer maggi seasoning.
- If you don't have an airfryer, you can broil the ribs in the oven.
- I tried to marinate for 30minutes on St. Louis style ribs. Use the marinade only as a liquid for IP because the ribs did not absorb all the liquid. Ribs came out great.
