Breville Smart Oven Air – Airfryer Filipino Style Tortang Talong or Eggplant Omelet Author: Neliza Ly Ingredients: 3 regular size Chinese Eggplant 3 XL eggs ¼ cup whole milk  ½ tsp. salt ½ tsp. black pepper, grind ½ tsp. garlic powder ½ tsp. soy sauce 1 tsp unsalted butter, melted Instructions: In a bowl, add eggs salt, black pepper, garlic powder, soy sauce, butter and milk. Whisk until all ingredients are blended. Set it aside. Poke holes all over the eggplant using a fork. Place the eggplant inside the Breville smart Oven Air and broil Hi for 20 minutes, turn in between until the skin is burnt or airfry for 25 minutes. Let the eggplant cool down for 2 minutes. Peel the skin and gently mash using a fork to flatten the eggplant. Grease baking dish or pie pan that fit inside the Airfryer . I use 9" pie pan. Air fried Tofu

I don't like to eat tofu especially making it as a soup or saute one but I'm able to eat air fried and deep fried tofu. My kids who doesn't eat tofu, said this recipe taste like chicken nuggets and I never told them it's tofu. This is a thumbs up at home. Air fried Tofu Author: Neliza Ly Ingredients: 1 lb. (16 oz) firm tofu (I use House foods brand), drain and cut into cubes 3 tbsp. maggi seasoning 1 tsp. white wine vinegar 2tsp. vegetable oil 1 clove (1 tsp.) garlic, grated 1 tsp. ginger, grated -- Potato starch 1 egg + 1 tbsp. milk or water = egg wash Panko breadcrumbs Instructions: Mix maggi seasoning, white wine vinegar, vegetable oil, garlic and ginger. Pour into tofu and marinate for at least 30 minutes. I usually marinate mine for 2 hours. Dip marinated tofu with potato starch, egg wash and panko breadcrumbs. Here's one of the reasons why I did not post recipes in a while. I'm busy with my garden and I love to share what's blooming in my garden that pollinators love.

Instant Pot Creamy Flan

I finally have time to separate my 2 flan recipe from last year. This is taste less sweeter compare with using the condensed milk and this is my all time favorite flan. Instant Pot Creamy Flan Author: Neliza Ly Ingredients Flan: 12 oz. whole milk 1/2 cup (100 grams) granulated sugar 3 XL eggs 1 tsp. vanilla   Caramel: 3/4 cup (152 grams) sugar 4 tbsp. water 2 tbsp. water Instructions: Place 3/4 cup sugar and 4 tbsp. water into a pot. Cook on medium to high heat until golden brown (It took me 10 minutes to achieve the color I like). Once it is golden brown, add 2 tbsp. of water and stir the pot until the bubbling stop. Pour or scoop caramelized sugar into the mold and set it aside. Mix milk, sugar and vanilla and microwave for 1 minute to dissolve the sugar. Whisk eggs and add to milk mixture. Whisk until well combined. Strain the egg mixture twice.  Pour mixture into your mold and cover with foil. Add 1 Cup of water into the Instant Pot .  Place the tr
