Instant Pot Chicken Soup or Nilagang Manok
One of my kids' favorite soups. My kids request this soup every week. My kids love to eat our homegrown bokchoy.
Instant Pot Chicken Soup or Nilagang Manok

Ingredients:
- 2 tbsp Vegetable oil
- 6 pieces Chicken thighs or Chicken legs
- 6 cups Water
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 regular Onion, diced
- 3 thumbs Ginger, sliced
- 1 chicken Knorr bouillon
- 2 tbsp Fish sauce (I use three crabs brand)
- ½ tsp Black pepper
- 2 Potatoes, peeled and cut into quarter or 1 small green papaya
- bok choy or pepper leaves
- Set the Instant Pot on sauté mode. Sauté garlic, onion, and ginger for 2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add chicken and sauté for a few minutes.
- Add water, Knorr chicken bouillon, fish sauce, and black pepper into the Instant Pot.
- Set the Instant Pot on Manual Mode, High Pressure for 8 minutes, 15 minutes NPR.
- Open the lid. Set the Instant Pot on sauté mode. Add the potatoes. Simmer until tender, approximately 6 minutes.
- Add the bok choy or pepper leaves and cook for 2 minutes.
- Season with more salt or fish sauce to your liking.
- Enjoy.
