Equipment:
Ingredients:
- 6 pieces chicken breast
- Salt and pepper
- 12 slices Swiss cheese
- 12 slices black forest ham (or any ham of your choice)
- 2 XL eggs
- ¼ cup milk
- 2 cups Italian style panko bread crumbs or 3 packets Great Value Extra Crispy Seasoned Coating Mix
- Wrap Chicken in a plastic wrap and pound to ¼ inch thickness.
- Lightly season chicken with salt and pepper.
- Place 2 slices of ham and 2 slices of Swiss cheese on top of the chicken and roll tightly. I use plastic wrap to roll each chicken. Place rolled chicken in the freezer for 20 minutes. This will help stays together without the need of toothpick.
- Whisk eggs and milk. Dip chicken into egg mixture and coat with either Panko Bread crumbs or Great Value extra crispy seasoned coating mix. (I made using both. My kids love the panko and I like the GVseasoned coating mix).
- Line the Airfryer basket with parchment paper. Place the chicken and spray with vegetable oil.
- Set your Breville Smart oven Air to Airfryer mode. Air fry at 400F for 25 minutes. After 15 minutes is done, cover the top with foil to prevent too much browning. Meat Thermometer was at least 165 F.
- Enjoy.
- For small pieces, I was able to air fry at 400F for 15 minutes.
- If your chicken is small, you can use only 1 slice of ham and 1 slice of cheese.
- You can half the recipe if it too much.
- I usually, prepare 6 chicken breast and freeze 3 of them. I individually wrap each chicken in a plastic wrap and placed it inside the ziploc. I defrost it in the fridge ovenight when I’m planning to airfry the next day.
