Air Fry Cinnamon Roll

Instructions:

  • Place all bun ingredients in a bread maker pan. Select dough setting.
  • When cycle is completed (approx. 45 to 50 minutes), remove dough from pan.
  • Sprinkle the work surface with flour. Use a rolling pin to roll out the dough into a rectangle. Brush the top with milk. Mix brown sugar and cinnamon powder and sprinkle on top.
  • Roll the dough and seal firmly. Cut the dough into 16 equal pieces.
  • Line the pan with parchment paper and arrange the rolls. I bake them in two batches (8 rolls per pan) using the Breville Smart Oven Air (BSOA).
  • Allow to rest for 20 to 30 minutes.
  • Set the Breville Smart Oven Air to Air fryer mode. Place the rack on level 5.
  • Air Fry at 330°F  for 18 minutes. If you use the Air Fryer frozen setting which I always use, Air fry at 330F for 12 minutes. Cooking times vary depending on your air fryer brand. 
  • Enjoy.

Notes:

  • Note 1: Allow the cinnamon rolls to cool down if you want to add icing.
  • Note 2: You can top with icing using ½ cup powdered sugar and 2 tsp water if you like.
