Air fry Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies

Equipment:
- Breville smart Oven Air
- Measuring spoon
- Measuring cup
- Weighing scale
- Stand Mixer
Ingredients:
- 1 ½ cups (276 grams) packed brown sugar
- 2 tbsp. (30 ml) blackstrap molasses
- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
- 1 tsp. Vanilla extract
- 1 large egg
- 4 pack (115 grams) Instant oats original (I use Quaker brand)
- 1 ½ cups (198 grams) All Purpose flour
- 1 tsp. (3 grams) Baking soda
- 1 cup (175 grams) Chocolate Chips (I use Ghirardelli premium baking chocolate chips)
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, mix brown sugar, blackstrap molasses and butter until blended. Beat in vanilla and egg until light and creamy.
- Add oats, all-purpose flour and baking soda and mix until well blended. Stir in chocolate chips.
- Refrigerate for 30 minutes or freeze for 15 minutes.
- Scoop a tablespoon of dough onto cookie sheet lined with parchment paper 2 inches apart. (
- Set your Breville smart Oven air at 350F airfryer mode. Place pan at level 5 and air fry for 10 minutes.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before eating.
- Enjoy.
Note:
- Cookies come out great if you freeze the dough for at least 15 minutes or refrigerate for 30 minutes before you air fry instead of baking/ air fry after mixing.
