Airfryer Chicken Thighs with Garlic, Mandarin and Dijon
This is my husband and my kids favorite chicken. I make this every week for several years. The chicken is tasty with full of flavors like grilled chicken. I converted this recipe for air fryer, adjust the temperature and time several times. I also share this recipe on different air fryer group before. If you don't have an air fryer you can bake this in the oven or you can grill it.
Air fryer Chicken with Garlic, Mandarin and Dijon

Ingredients:
- 8 pcs. chicken thighs or legs
- 1/4 cup oil (I use either vegetable oil or olive oil)
- 4 cloves garlic
- Juice from 1 mandarin orange
- 3 tbsp. (45 grams) Dijon mustard
- 1/2 tbsp. (10 grams) coarse sea salt
- ½ tsp pepper
- 40 grams fresh parsley
- Combine all of the marinade ingredients. Puree in a processor or blender.
- Transfer chicken into a large ziploc bag. Pour the marinade over the chicken and toss to evenly coat the chicken for richer flavor. Marinate for at least 4 hours or overnight in the refrigerator.
- Line the air fryer basket with parchment paper and the air fryer pan with foil for easy clean up. Place the chicken in the air fryer basket skin side down. For Breville, line the pan with foil.
- Air fry at 370F for 30 minutes.
- Turn the chicken skin side up. Air fry for another 6 to 8 minutes until the skin is charred like bbq.
- Serve with hot steamed rice and steamed vegetables.
