Air fry Lemongrass Pork chop

Air fry Lemongrass Pork chop Author: Neliza Ly Ingredients: 4 pcs. Pork chop Marinade: 2 tbsp. lemon grass, minced 2 tbsp. garlic, minced 1 small shallot, minced 2 tbsp. vegetable oil 2 tbsp. fish sauce 2 tbsp. soy sauce or maggi seasoning 2 tbsp. honey or granulated sugar 2 tbsp. green onion/scallion 1 tsp. ground black pepper Instructions: In a bowl, combine all the marinade ingredients. Rinse pork chop and place into a large Ziploc. Pour the marinade over the pork and toss to evenly coat the pork. Marinate for at least 6 hours or overnight in the refrigerator. Line airfryer mesh with parchment paper.  Place the pork in the airfryer mesh. Set Breville Smart Oven Air to Air fry mode. Air fry at 400F for 20 minutes total, flip pork after 10 minutes. Let the pork rest for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with scallion oil if you like.

One of my kids favorite soup. My kids request this soup every week. My kids love to eat our homegrown bokchoy. Instant Pot Chicken Soup or Nilagang Manok Author: Neliza Ly Equipment: Instant Pot Measuring spoon Measuring cup Weighing scale Ingredients: 2 tbsp. vegetable oil 6 pieces Chicken thighs or Chicken legs 6 cups water 2 cloves garlic, minced 1 regular onion, diced 3 thumbs ginger, sliced 1 chicken Knorr bouillon 2 tbsp. fish sauce (I use three crabs brand)  ½ tsp. black pepper 2 potatoes, peeled and cut into quarter or 1 small green papaya  bokchoy or pepper leaves Instructions: Set the Instant Pot on sauté mode. Sauté garlic, onion and ginger for 2 minutes until fragrant. Add chicken and sauté for a few minutes. Add water, chicken knorr, fish sauce, black pepper into the Instant Pot. Air fry Chicken legs with lemongrass Author: Neliza Ly Equipment: Airfryer measuring spoon storage slider bag parchment paper Ingredients: 6 pieces chicken legs 1 tsp. minced garlic 1 tbsp. lemongrass, minced 2 tbsp. brown sugar 3 tbsp. maggi seasoning ½ tsp. black pepper 2 tbsp. green onion or scallion 1 tbsp. oil Instructions: Combine all the marinade ingredients. Place chicken into a large slider bag . Pour the marinade over chicken and toss evenly. Marinate overnight in the refrigerator. Line pan with parchment paper. Air fry at 400 F for 35 - 40 minutes. I make 2 rack of Baby Back Ribs every week per kid’s request. This is one of their favorite way of cooking ribs. Instant Pot Baby Back Ribs Author: Neliza Ly Ingredients: 1 rack baby back ribs, cut into pieces 2 oz. Maggi seasoning 1 tbsp. (12 grams) vinegar 2 tbsp. (24 grams) annatto oil 3 cloves (11 grams) garlic, minced 1 tbsp. (15 grams) fresh ginger, grated 2 oz. water Annatto Oil: In a pot, heat ½ cup vegetable oil. Add 1 tbsp. annatto seeds. Turn off and remove the pot from heat. Leave annatto seeds for 10 minutes then discard seeds. You have annatto oil. Instructions: Parboil ribs for 10 minutes to remove impurities. Rinse with cold running water. Season the ribs with Maggi seasoning, vinegar, annatto oil, garlic and ginger. Mix well and set aside for 30 minutes. Place the ribs into the Instant pot. I've been busy for the past months. I apologize for not posting new recipes. This recipe is on of our favorite at home. I always make this recipe at least every 1 to 2 weeks.  1 rack of ribs is very cheap and you only need few ingredients. The marinade is similar with my tofu recipe. I hope you will like it and enjoy the food like us. Sorry, It took me a while to published another dish. I've been busy lately and not much time to check my blog. The weather is getting warm and I'm busy with my gardening. Instant pot and Air fryer Lemon grass Pork Ribs Author: Neliza Ly Ingredients: 6 lbs. Pork Spareribs - 1 rack 2 stalk lemon grass, grind (140 grams) 4 cloves garlic 1 shallot 3 tbsp. brown sugar 4 tbsp. honey 4 tbsp. soy sauce (I use maggi seasoning) 4 tbsp. fish sauce ½ tsp. black pepper corn, grind 1 tbsp. vegetable oil Instructions: Combine all ingredients. Mix in a processor or blender. Place ribs into a large ziploc bag. Pour 2/3 of marinade and toss to evenly coat the ribs. Marinate for at least 1 to 2 hours in the refrigerator. Save 1/3 of marinade for basting. Place 1 cup water into the Instant Pot. Place the trivet  and ribs into a pot. Air fryer Chicken Cordon Bleu – Breville Smart Oven Air Author: Neliza Ly Equipment: KitchenAid Meat Tenderizer Breville Smart Oven Air Parchment Paper Plastic wrap Ingredients: 6 pieces chicken breast Salt and pepper 12 slices Swiss cheese 12 slices black forest ham (or any ham of your choice) 2 XL eggs ¼ cup milk 2 cups Italian style panko bread crumbs or 3 packets Great Value Extra Crispy Seasoned Coating Mix Instructions: Wrap Chicken in a plastic wrap and pound to ¼ inch thickness. Lightly season chicken with salt and pepper. Place 2 slices of ham and 2 slices of Swiss cheese on top of the chicken and roll tightly. I use plastic wrap to roll each chicken. Place rolled chicken in the freezer for 20 minutes. This will help stays together without the need of toothpick. Whisk eggs and milk. Instant Pot Ilonggo Chicken Adobo with achiote

As an Ilonggo, Chicken and pork adobo with annatto or achiote is a common dish in Iloilo. There are different variations of adobo based on Region and Province. The main ingredients of adobo are soy sauce and vinegar. For vinegar, we always use coconut sap vinegar or tuba. My mom always keeps the vinegar in a big container. The vinegar taste better if you store it for several months. Rice vinegar taste comparable with coconut sap vinegar. I also like to use Datu Puti cane vinegar. For soy sauce, we usually use Silver swan in the Philippines but I prefer the taste of Maggi seasoning. We don't use onion for chicken adobo. Instant Pot Filipino Chicken Afritada Author: Neliza Ly Ingredients: 4 Chicken Quarters cut into pieces or 4 pieces legs and 4 pieces thighs 2 tbsp. vegetable oil ½ onion, chopped 3 cloves garlic, minced 8 oz. or 1 cup chicken broth 10 oz. tomato sauce (I use tomato with garlic and onion pasta sauce) 1 tbsp. fish sauce 1 tsp. sugar  ½ tsp. black pepper 3 bay leaves 2 potatoes peeled and quartered  2 carrots cut into pieces ½ bell pepper, sliced ½ cup frozen peas Instructions: Set the Instant pot on Sauté Mode.  Add oil, sauté garlic and onion then add chicken and mix for 2 minutes. Mix chicken broth, tomato sauce, fish sauce and sugar.  Do a taste test and adjust to your liking. Add sauce mixture, black pepper, bay leaves and potatoes into the Instant Pot. There are a lot of variations when making bistek. In Iloilo we call it Carne Frita, Bistek in other parts of the Philippines. We use similar ingredients. We usually use calamansi but I can’t find it here in the US. I decided to use lime which tastes a little bit similar to Philippine calamansi compare with lemon. Instant Pot Chicken Embutido Author: Neliza Ly Ingredients: 1 lb. ground chicken ½ cup (65 grams) raisins 1 (6 oz.) carrots, grated ½ cup (48 grams) bread crumbs ½ tsp. black pepper 1 ½ tbsp. Maggi seasoning or soy sauce 2 oz. shredded mild cheddar cheese 1 XL egg ¼ onion, chopped 4 cloves garlic, minced ½ (60 grams) red bell pepper, chopped ¼ cup (60 grams) sweet pickle relish -- 3 hotdogs or sausage (I use ballpark franks because it is less salty) 3 foil Banana leaves (optional) Instructions: Combine all ingredients. Mix well and divide into 3 equal parts (310 grams each). Wash and clean banana leaves. Wilt the leaves using a stove for easy wrapping. You can also microwave the banana leaves for 2 minutes, wipe and set aside. (If you don’t have banana leaves just use foil.) Place 1 portion of meat mixture into the banana leaves. I made this soup using my left over ham. It is yummy and creamy. I also made potato soup. The ingredients are the same but more celery and carrots. Instant Pot Creamy Ham and Potato Soup Author: Neliza Ly Ingredients: 2 tbsp. vegetable oil 2 tbsp. unsalted butter 3 cloves garlic, minced 1 shallot, diced 133 grams (2 stalks) celery, sliced 168 grams (1 cup) 1 piece carrot, diced 415 grams (3 cups) left over ham, diced 5 pcs. (2.5 lbs.) Russet Potatoes, peeled and diced 4 cups chicken broth 1 can cream of potato ¼ tsp. salt ¼ tsp. peppercorn, grind ¼ tsp. coriander seeds grind 2 tbsp. all-purpose flour ½ cup 2% milk 2 cups shredded mild cheddar cheese Garnish: green onion/scallion, extra cheese Instructions: Set the Instant pot on Sauté Mode.  Add vegetable oil and unsalted butter. Instant Pot Honey Glazed Ham

Perfect for Holidays and Thanksgiving. I also made some soup from my left over ham. Instant Pot Honey Glazed Ham Author: Neliza Ly Ingredients: 4 lbs. (half ham) boneless ham, fully cooked (not frozen) 1 can (15.3 oz. or 432 grams) Del Monte Pineapple chunk with juice ¼ cup (45 grams) brown sugar 2 oz. pure honey 2 tbsp. cornstarch Instructions: Slice ham and place it inside the Instant Pot. Pour 1 can of pineapple chunk with juice over the ham. Pour honey over ham and sprinkle brown sugar into slices and on top of ham. Set the Instant Pot to Manual Mode, High Pressure for 5 minutes, 10 minutes NPR. Remove the ham. Se the Instant Pot to Sauté mode.  Mix 3 tbsp. of pineapple juice from the the pot to cornstarch and mix well. Add cornstarch mixture and mix for 2 to 3 minutes to thicken the sauce. Pour sauce over the top of ham. Enjoy.

This is one of my favorite food to make in the air fryer.   Air fryer Chicken Dumplings Author: Neliza Ly Equipment: GoWise 5.8 Airfryer Parchment paper EVO oil sprayer Yield: 50 dumplings Ingredients: 1 lb. ground chicken 1½ tbsp. maggi seasoning 1 tbsp. vegetable oil ½ tsp. black pepper 1 sprig scallion or green onion, finely chopped 2 tsp. garlic powder 1 XL egg  twin marquis dumpling wrapper or Golden Dragon gyoza wrapper Instructions: Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Scoop 1 tbsp. of chicken mixture into a dumpling wrapper and sealed with water. Line the air fryer with parchment paper and place the dumplings. Spray dumpings with vegetable oil. Airfry at 370F for 12 minutes. Flip dumplings after 7 minutes and spray with vegetable oil. Enjoy.

Chicken breast tenderloin Great Value Extra Crispy Seasoned Coating Mix Instructions: Moist chicken with milk. Shake chicken in a shaker bag with coating mix. Place chicken in the air fryer and spray with vegetable oil. Air fry at 400F for 10 to 12 minutes, flip in between. Check with meat thermometer. Enjoy.

I always make this Chicken for dinner. This is one of my favorite. It is very tasty. I can eat 2 leg quarter with rice. I usually double my recipe when I make this chicken. My husband loves this chicken aside from the other chicken that I make all the time. This is my Instant Pot Version. I also have the Airfryer version . This is one of my favorite chicken. It taste good and the skin is crispy. I usually make this with chicken thighs and chicken quarter. I tried to convert this to Instant Pot, the Air fryer version retains more flavor. Air fryer Turmeric Chicken Author: Neliza Ly Ingredients: 4 chicken thighs 10 garlic cloves, minced ½ tsp. turmeric powder 1 tsp. coarse sea salt ½ tsp. black pepper, grind 1 tsp. sugar 1 tsp. coriander seeds, crushed 2 tbsp. maggi seasoning 1 tbsp. oyster sauce -- ¾ cup rice flour ¾ cup glutinous rice flour Instructions: Make 2 slits on the chicken meat near the bone area for the flavor to absorb well.
